| DCAA Adds Ad Man to Board |
|
The DCAA is pleased to announce its most recent addition to the Board of Directors:
Avram Butensky has come a long way from his undergraduate days as advertising salesman for The Daily Cardinal. With his 1955 Bachelor's degree in hand, Ave began to work his way through the New York City advertising labyrinth to become one of the most respected advertising executives in the country as president of the nation's largest media buying service.
From the Dancer-Fitzgerald-Sample mailroom to the media department; then to vice president, and, subsequently, president of Program Syndication Services. He became President of Libov in 1982. He has been generous with his time to many groups, including his Alma Mater. He served three years as President of the International Radio and Television Society, is vice president of the American Friends of Haifa University, and is a member of the Coordinating Committee for Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.
